The Senior Manager – Product Administration, Monitoring & Tracking will oversee and ensure compliance on the issuance of release letters, review and sign off documentation checklists, and manage the end-to-end loan booking process for both Retail and Corporate Asset Based Financing (ABF) loans. Additionally, the role is responsible for monitoring portfolio performance, keeping non-performing books within agreed limits, and ensuring compliance with KCB Bank's policies and prudential guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure compliance with agreed TAT on the issuance of release letters.
Ensure timely cross-checking and Sign-off on Documentation checklists to facilitate release orders by SDC.
Manage the end-to-end loan booking process for both Retail and Corporate ABF loans.
Ensure bank policy regarding prudential guidelines is strictly observed.
Update the ABF Manuals and policies in liaison with the relevant units to suit the business.
Review processes in the unit to determine potential operational loss areas and submit action plans to the unit head.
Report any operational loss to the Operational Risk Management Department.
Monitor non-performing books to ensure they do not exceed the agreed percentage of the total portfolio through regular credit report reviews.
Monitor the status of various ABF and IPF accounts, calling for action by Credit Support, Portfolio Managers, and Branch Managers where necessary.
Ensure delivery of efficient customer service to all internal and external clients.
Collate reports for the unit in liaison with ABF Relationship Managers, Dealer Relationship Desk, and the Documentation & Securities section.
Requirements and Qualifications
A Bachelor's University Degree from a recognized institution.
At least 7 years of banking experience in the financial/banking sector.
Minimum of 5 years of experience specialized in Asset Based Financing.
At least 3 years of experience in loan administration, asset monitoring, and tracking systems.
At least 3 years of experience in portfolio performance reporting & Insurance Premium Financing (IPF) mechanics.
At least 3 years of experience with loan & facility documentation (loan agreements, facility offer letters, term sheets, security documentation), and pre- and post-disbursement controls.
Hands-on experience with collateral registration (e.g., vehicles, equipment, receivables), charge documentation, deeds of assignment, Logbook loans / chattel mortgages, fixed/floating debentures, and their legal enforceability.
Expertise in Insurance Premium Financing (IPF) Documentation.
