We are seeking a Security Officer to join our team, focusing on remote monitoring and surveillance operations for international clients.
Role Overview
The Security Officer will be responsible for the continuous monitoring of live CCTV and surveillance systems, identifying potential security threats in real-time, and maintaining rigorous documentation to ensure the safety and operational integrity of client sites.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor live CCTV and surveillance systems for international clients, ensuring continuous security coverage and system functionality.
Identify, assess, and report security incidents in real time, strictly following established protocols.
Maintain accurate logs and detailed documentation of all monitoring activities and incident reports.
Coordinate with technical support teams to resolve system failures, alarms, and connectivity issues (e.g., NVR disconnections).
Liaise with internal departments (operations, technical, and administration) to ensure seamless service delivery.
Communicate with clients to address concerns, provide updates, and enhance service satisfaction.
Support emergency response by contacting authorities (e.g., 911) and coordinating interventions when required.
Assist physical security teams by providing real-time intelligence and surveillance insights during incidents.
Provide video evidence and reports to support investigations and legal processes.
Ensure strict compliance with data confidentiality, electronic security policies, and client-specific protocols.

Improved incident response time through proactive monitoring and efficient escalation procedures.
Enhanced system reliability by identifying recurring technical issues and recommending solutions.

Requirements
Education: Minimum of a BA/BSc or HND qualification.
Experience: Entry-level candidates are welcome; however, familiarity with security systems is preferred.
Technical Skills: Ability to operate surveillance equipment and understand basic network connectivity for NVR systems.
Soft Skills: High attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication skills.
Compliance: Strong commitment to data confidentiality and adherence to security policies.
