Nyahururu Water and Sanitation Company Limited is seeking a Scheme Manager for the Marmanet Scheme. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operations and management of the water scheme, ensuring efficient service delivery to the community. This role requires a blend of technical expertise in water or civil engineering and strong management capabilities to lead the scheme effectively.
Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations and maintenance of the water scheme infrastructure.
Supervise and lead technical and administrative staff.
Ensure compliance with water quality and service standards.
Manage budgets and resources allocated to the scheme.
Liaise with community members and stakeholders regarding water services.
Implement project management strategies for scheme improvements.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Water Engineering, Civil Engineering, Finance, Economics, Project Management or any other related field from a recognized institution.
Certifications: Registered with a professional body where applicable.
Experience: At least five (5) years’ experience in the water sector, with at least two (2) of those years in a supervisory or management role.
Secondary Education: KCSE certificate.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Computer skills.
