The successful candidate will be responsible for driving proactive sales initiatives, maximizing total revenue, and ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities
Departmental Support: Oversee the smooth operation of the sales department, ensuring all proactive sales initiatives are executed effectively to maximize hotel revenue.
Guest Satisfaction: Work collaboratively as part of a team to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction by providing timely responses to inquiries and resolving problems efficiently.
Task Management: Take ownership of assigned duties, ensuring all work is completed to a high professional standard and within set timelines.
Strategic Execution: Deliver on departmental objectives and plans, ensuring hotel targets and initiatives are met.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with supervisors to control costs and inventory while maintaining high productivity and performance levels. Promote company culture and values within the team.
Compliance & Audit: Ensure strict adherence to all relevant legislation and due diligence requirements. Document activities for internal and external audits and perform necessary follow-ups.
Requirements & Qualifications
Education: BA/BSc/HND in a relevant field.
Experience: Previous experience in sales is beneficial but not essential. We are looking for individuals with the right character and potential.
Mindset: A hands-on, "can-do" work style with a deep passion for the hospitality industry.
Technical Skills: Experience working with IT systems across various platforms.
Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Attributes: High level of personal integrity and the ability to thrive in a high-excellence environment.
