The Sales Executive for New Holland is responsible for driving sales and business development for tractors and implements, ensuring customer satisfaction, and building the brand's strategic market presence in Kenya.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Sales Execution: Execute sales and business development activities, meeting or exceeding monthly targets for tractors and implements through prospecting, lead follow-up, and presenting proposals.
- Customer Loyalty: Drive customer loyalty and satisfaction by engaging in needs-based selling, conducting product demonstrations, and maintaining a professional, trustworthy, and sincere attitude.
- Customer Relationship Management: Manage the full customer relationship lifecycle, including providing pre-delivery training on usage and maintenance, and conducting post-sale follow-ups to resolve operational issues.
- Market Presence: Build strategic market presence by managing relationships with key stakeholders, farmers, institutions, and community leaders.
- Product and Market Knowledge: Maintain expert product and market knowledge by staying updated on New Holland technologies and conducting competitor analysis to improve business decisions.
- Reporting and Compliance: Ensure reporting and financial compliance by maintaining accurate prospect records in the sales tracker, preparing daily/weekly reports, and ensuring all KYC documents adhere to financial policies.
- Brand Representation: Uphold brand representation by ensuring the showroom is presentable, organizing promotions, and representing the brand professionally at public events and activations.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with the wider team to share knowledge, participate in strategy sessions, and assist colleagues to ensure overall team goals are met.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates must possess:
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in vehicle retail sales with a notable record for volume and profit.
- Education: A minimum of a degree in a business-related field. A Diploma in Sales & Marketing is considered an added advantage.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer applications and possession of a valid driving license.
- Core Competencies: Demonstrated high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Professional Attributes: A self-starter mindset with the ability to solve problems independently and adapt to changing environments.
- Language: Fluency in both English and Kiswahili is required.
