This Sales Executive role, based in Nanyuki, is focused on achieving and exceeding monthly sales targets for agricultural equipment, specifically tractors and implements. Key Responsibilities
- Sales and Business Development: Execute sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly targets for tractors and implements through prospecting, rigorous lead follow-up, and presenting effective proposals.
- Customer Satisfaction: Drive customer loyalty and satisfaction by engaging in needs-based selling, conducting detailed product demonstrations, and maintaining a professional, trustworthy, and sincere attitude.
- Customer Relationship Management: Manage the full customer relationship lifecycle, which includes providing pre-delivery training on product usage and maintenance, and conducting post-sale follow-ups to resolve any operational issues.
- Market Presence: Build a strategic market presence by managing relationships with key stakeholders, including local farmers, institutions, and community leaders.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain expert product and market knowledge by staying updated on New Holland technologies and conducting competitor analysis to inform business decisions.
- Reporting and Compliance: Ensure accurate reporting and financial compliance by maintaining precise prospect records in the sales tracker, preparing daily/weekly reports, and ensuring all Know Your Customer (KYC) documents adhere strictly to financial policies.
- Brand Representation: Uphold brand representation standards by ensuring the showroom is presentable, organizing promotional activities, and professionally representing the brand at public events and activations.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with the wider team, sharing knowledge, participating in strategy sessions, and assisting colleagues to ensure overall team objectives are successfully met.
Qualifications and Requirements
To be successful in this role, you would need:
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in vehicle retail sales with a notable record for achieving volume and profit targets.
- Education: A minimum of a degree in a business-related field. A Diploma in Sales & Marketing is considered an added advantage (BA/BSc/HND or Diploma qualification acceptable).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer applications and possession of a valid driving license is essential.
- Core Competencies: Demonstrated high level of accuracy, meticulous attention to detail, and a strong, dedicated focus on customer satisfaction.
- Professional Attributes: Must possess a self-starter mindset with proven ability to solve problems independently and adapt quickly to changing working environments.
- Language: Fluency in both English and Kiswahili is required.
