The Sales Enablement Specialist (Temporary Employee) role is crucial for implementing the strategy for indirect channel execution, focusing on a group of Emerging channel partners (distributors).
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Implement the strategy for indirect channel execution for a group of Emerging channel partners (distributors).
- Ensure consistent application of best practices & capability development of channel partners.
- Develop relationships & engagement with channel partners to build long term strategic partnership – maintain an independent point of view on channel partners.
- Lead partner Communication and bottleneck resolution.
- Regular review of channel partner performance, monitor financial health, capability to invest fund the growth of Medtronic growth expectation, credit terms, monitor partner-customer relationships.
- Identify, recruit and onboard partners that meet Medtronic standards and are aligned with our strategic business intent. Identify and support growth and margin optimization initiatives.
- On ground execution of channel transformation initiatives (distributor communications, appointment, termination, negotiations, buybacks etc).
Required Knowledge and Experience
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical engineering, Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent is a plus.
- Languages: Proficiency in English is required; additional regional languages are an advantage.
- Channel Management Expertise: Proven experience in managing indirect sales channels, particularly distributor networks, with a strong understanding of channel dynamics and performance drivers.
- Commercial Acumen: Solid background in sales, business development, or commercial operations, with the ability to analyse market trends and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with distributors, internal teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strategic Planning: Experience in developing and executing channel strategies aligned with regional and global business objectives.
