Sales and Collections Intern

Our platform is designed to empower small businesses in Africa by assisting with financial record-keeping and promoting financial literacy through business support coaching.\n\n### Role Overview\nWe are searching for a committed, deadline-driven Sales and Collections Intern to join our sales team in Kapsabet. The intern will complete all tasks assigned by the manager, which may include conducting market research, identifying business opportunities, generating sales leads, making cold calls, participating in meetings, and assisting the Sales and Collections departments.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n* Work in pairs with Business Development Officers and Collections Officers.\n* Support and maintain an excellent work environment to achieve branch targets.\n* Deliver first-rate customer service.\n* Assist in accurate and timely reporting of Management Information and market feedback to report on customer preferences, trends, and market opportunities.\n* Assist in contacting debtors to receive payment.\n* Assist in following up on defaulters to recover payments.\n* Carry out customer education and maintain relationships.\n* Generate sales leads.\n\n### Qualifications and Requirements\n* A good level of general education - Diploma or degree.\n* Computer literacy.\n* Educational background in Sales/Marketing.\n* Experience in a related field will be an added advantage.\n* Experience in a financial institution will be an added advantage.\n\n### Compensation\n* KES 10,000.00 / Month
