Role Overview
The Sales & Business Development Executive will drive growth across airline representation (GSA), travel agency services, and inbound/outbound tours. The role requires a proactive, commercially-minded professional capable of identifying opportunities, building strategic partnerships, converting leads, and supporting sales execution while ensuring key travel services remain a priority.
Key Responsibilities
1. Airline Sales – GSA Division
- Collaborate with airline sales teams to strengthen relationships with trade and corporate partners.
- Identify, recruit, and manage travel agents, OTAs, consolidators, and sub-agents.
- Plan and execute airline campaigns, route awareness programs, and fare promotions.
- Monitor agent performance, analyze results, and implement incentive programs.
- Explore new business channels and B2B/B2C opportunities to drive airline growth.
- Foster collaboration across sales teams to maximize efficiency and reach.
2. Travel Agency Sales – Ticketing & Outbound Holidays
- Grow ticketing and outbound holiday sales across retail and B2B segments.
- Build partnerships with corporates, schools, SMEs, and organizations for outbound travel.
- Promote B2B and B2C platforms and provide support or training as needed.
- Expand distribution through global consolidators and OTAs.
- Upsell services including visa assistance, insurance, premium travel options, car rentals, and eSIMs.
3. Tours & DMC Sales – Inbound Travel
- Sell inbound travel packages to international tour operators, DMCs, airlines, and OTAs.
- Establish strategic relationships with partners across key global markets.
- Work with internal teams to develop luxury safaris, FIT programs, group tours, and MICE packages.
- Represent the organization at trade shows, webinars, and sales missions.
- Promote the organization’s safari fleet and build transport partnerships.
4. Strategic Planning & Coordination
- Support the development of monthly and quarterly sales and business plans.
- Analyze competitors, market trends, and customer feedback to optimize strategies.
- Track sales pipelines, lead conversions, and prepare market intelligence reports.
- Collaborate with marketing on campaigns, promotions, and FAM trips.
5. Business Development & Growth Enablement
- Leverage leadership networks to explore new opportunities and business segments.
- Develop and present tailored proposals to potential partners.
- Represent the organization at high-level meetings and forums to pursue growth opportunities.
- Identify and nurture strategic alliances to support long-term regional and international expansion.
Qualifications
- Education: BA/BSc/HND qualification.
