This role involves generating new retail Life Business within the Nyeri market for CIC Insurance Group. As a Sacco Assurance Sales Officer, you will be responsible for expanding the company's client base by educating potential and existing customers on retail Life products and ensuring exceptional service delivery. This position offers an attractive performance-based retainer, incentives, and commissions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Generation: Proactively generate new retail Life Business from the allocated market segment.
Client Education: Educate both new and existing clients on various retail Life products to help them make informed decisions.
Service Coordination: Liaise with various internal departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to all clients.
Quotations: Provide timely and accurate quotations to prospects within the established turnaround times.
Market Intelligence: Gather and report market intelligence to help the company maintain an updated and competitive product range.
Retention: Follow up on client accounts to ensure policy persistency remains at an acceptable rate.
Brand Promotion: Actively promote the CIC brand in the market to enhance visibility and reputation.
Requirements
Education and Qualifications
Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course.
A Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable.
Relevant professional qualifications in Insurance, specifically Certificate of Proficiency (COP) or ECOP.
A Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA qualification is considered an added advantage.
Skills and Competencies
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Outstanding customer care skills.
Age: 25 years and above.
