This role involves driving growth for Retail Life Business within the allocated market. The Sacco Assurance Sales Officer will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, educating clients on insurance products, and ensuring high standards of service delivery. The position offers an attractive performance-based retainer, incentives, and commissions, making it suitable for target-driven professionals.
Responsibilities
Generate new retail Life Business from the allocated market to meet sales targets.
Educate new and existing clients on various retail Life products to aid their decision-making.
Liaise with internal departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to clients.
Provide timely and accurate quotations within the required turnaround times.
Gather and report market intelligence to help the company maintain an updated and competitive product range.
Monitor and follow up on client accounts to ensure policy persistency is maintained at an acceptable rate.
Actively promote the CIC brand in the market.
Requirements
A minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course; a Bachelor’s degree is desirable.
Relevant professional qualifications in Insurance such as Certificate of Proficiency (COP) or ECOP.
Possession of a Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA certification is an added advantage.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
Demonstrated excellence in customer care skills.
Must be 25 years of age or older.
