CIC Insurance Group Limited, a leading insurance and investment group in East Africa, is seeking to recruit Sacco Assurance Sales Officers for its Retail Sales department in Kapenguria. This role offers an attractive performance-based retainer, incentives, and commissions. The primary objective of the role is to drive the growth of the Retail Life Business segment within the allocated market, focusing on client acquisition and brand promotion.
Key Responsibilities
Business Generation: Actively identify and generate new retail Life Business from the allocated market to meet set targets.
Client Education: Educate both new and existing clients on the various retail Life insurance products available.
Liaison & Service Delivery: Coordinate with internal departments to ensure efficient and timely service delivery to clients.
Quotations: Prepare and provide accurate quotations to prospective clients within established turnaround times.
Market Intelligence: Gather and report on market trends and intelligence to help maintain a competitive product range.
Persistency Management: Follow up with clients to ensure policy persistency remains at an acceptable rate.
Brand Advocacy: Actively promote the CIC brand in all interactions to enhance market visibility.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course. A Bachelor’s degree is highly desirable.
Professional Certifications: Relevant professional qualifications in Insurance such as COP (Certificate of Proficiency) or ECOP.
Advanced Certifications: A Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA certification is considered an added advantage.
Age Requirement: Candidates must be 25 years of age or older.
