This role involves generating new retail Life Business from the allocated market in Eldama Ravine. The Sacco Assurance Sales Officer will be responsible for educating clients on retail life products, ensuring high standards of service delivery, and promoting the CIC brand. This position offers an attractive performance-based retainer, incentives, and commissions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Generation: Generate new retail Life Business from the allocated market segment.
Client Education: Educate new and existing clients on retail Life products to facilitate informed decision-making.
Service Delivery: Liaise with various departments to ensure timely and efficient service delivery to clients.
Quotations: Provide timely and accurate quotations within the established turnaround times.
Market Intelligence: Gather market intelligence to ensure the product range remains updated and competitive.
Retention: Follow up on existing accounts to ensure persistency is maintained at an acceptable rate.
Brand Promotion: Actively promote the CIC brand within the region.
Qualifications and Requirements
Academic Background: Minimum of a Diploma in a business-related course. A Bachelor’s degree is considered desirable.
Professional Certifications: Relevant professional qualifications in Insurance (COP or ECOP) are required.
Advanced Certifications: A Diploma in Insurance (AIIK/CII) or LOMA is an added advantage.
Age Requirement: Candidates must be 25 years of age or above.
Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Interpersonal Skills: Good negotiation skills, problem-solving abilities, and excellent customer care skills.
