Tatu City is a project of Rendeavour, Africa’s largest urban land developer. The Security Supervisor is an important position that demands hard work and coordination with other team members in order to perform duties effectively. The role involves overseeing the protection of personnel, physical assets, and residents within Tatu City, while also providing specialized security services such as close protection for executives.
Responsibilities
Protect staff of Tatu City Limited (TCL).
Ensure the protection of physical assets belonging to Rendeavour.
Protect Tatu City residents, tenants, and visitors.
Provide Close Protection and escort duties to Rendeavour Executives and their families.
Respond to emergency situations, including suspicious activity, criminal behavior, and security breaches, in accordance with laid-down security plans.
Respond to fire outbreaks and coordinate with external fire responders as necessary.
Provide supervision and On-the-Job Training (OJT) to the Usalama Team.
Coordinate with the Armed CIPU officers on security matters.
Submit daily shift reports to the Security Manager.
Requirements and Qualifications
Minimum of a High School Certificate.
Prior experience as an armed security officer with a minimum of 6 years in the police force or military service.
Valid relevant firearm license and specialized training.
Clear criminal record.
Familiarity with professional report writing.
Excellent surveillance and observation skills.
