Old Mutual Kenya is looking for a Relationship Executive to manage intermediaries and customer relationships for assigned portfolios of schemes. The role focuses on ensuring superior customer experience, driving profitable growth, and maintaining high service standards while overseeing cost controls and automation initiatives.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Relationship Management: Provide end-to-end proactive management of intermediaries and customer relationships for an assigned portfolio of schemes.
Customer Experience: Ensure a superior customer experience for intermediaries and clients, working closely with other departments and tracking delivery against the OM Customer Service Charter to meet NPS and NES targets.
Business Growth: Contribute to the profitable growth of the portfolio based on set annual targets through the retention of existing business.
Market Intelligence: Obtain and provide accurate market intelligence for renewals and tenders to ensure competitive and correct pricing.
Financial Management: Proactively manage and reduce costs, including implementing controls for adverse performing schemes; support premium collection, excesses, and undertakings.
Process Adherence: Adhere to all established processes, procedures, and control parameters.
Digital Transformation: Train and increase the uptake of automation initiatives by clients and intermediaries.
Professional Development: Demonstrate teamwork and pursue continued personal development.
Other Duties: Perform any other duties as may be assigned by management.

Qualifications, Knowledge, and Experience
Experience: 2-3 years’ experience in the insurance industry, preferably in client servicing. Experience in handling SME/Corporate clients/portfolio is a must.
Sales & Communication: Sales experience and excellent report writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Education: University Graduate with a business-related degree in Commerce/Finance or Business Administration (Insurance Option/Marketing/Economics).
Professional Certification: Professional insurance qualifications (CII/COP) are an added advantage.
Technical Proficiency: Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite & packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
