Role Overview
Tharaka Nithi County Public Service Board (CPSB) is inviting applications for the position of Registered Nurse [3] – Intern (25 Posts). The Registered Nurse – Intern shall be responsible to the employer and the supervisor for offering nursing services, guiding and counseling patients, and supporting health management teams within the county's healthcare facilities.
Requirements for Appointment
Be a Kenyan citizen;
Be a holder of a Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution;
Be registered by Nursing Council of Kenya;
Possess a valid Practicing License from Nursing Council of Kenya;
Must be computer literate.
Duties and Responsibilities
Offering Nursing Services depending on the level of care deployed;
Guiding and counseling patients, clients and staff on health issues;
Referring patients and clients to appropriate health facilities;
Coaching and mentoring students on attachment;
Organizing health management teams and convening health management committee meetings;
Collecting and compiling data for research on nursing services issues;
Any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor.
