The Regional Sales Manager at Safal Group is responsible for leading and managing regional marketing and sales operations. The primary goal is to achieve product-wise and profile-wise targeted product mix, including new products, while developing and executing distribution strategies to increase market penetration and availability.
Key Responsibilities
Target Achievement: Achieve product-wise, profile-wise, and targeted product mix goals, including new products and innovations.
Regional Management: Lead and oversee regional marketing and sales operations.
Distribution Strategy: Develop and execute regional distribution strategies to increase penetration and availability.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong dealer relationships to expand business.
Market Intelligence: Maintain a robust market intelligence system and analyze trends to support strategic decision-making.
Financial Oversight: Manage the financial health of regional distributors.
Team Leadership: Lead, coach, and manage a team of area sales officers to ensure objectives are met.
Product Commercialization: Drive the commercialization of new products and innovations within the region.
Requirements
Academic Qualification: A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
Added Advantage: A Diploma in Sales & Marketing will be considered an asset.
Experience: Between 7-10 years of general work experience, with at least 7 years specifically in a sales leadership or management role.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) industry is required.
Languages: Fluency in English and Kiswahili.
Computer Literacy: Proficiency in MS Office packages and ERP systems.
