Radiographer I

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical imaging services at sub-county or referral hospitals.
• Process, verify, and maintain accurate information and documentation related to patients.
• Offer professional care and counseling to patients and their relatives before, during, and after radiographic examinations.
• Ensure the safeguarding, basic maintenance, and safety of medical imaging equipment within the hospital environment.
• Establish and maintain departmental Quality Assurance Programs to ensure service excellence.
• Coordinate the procurement and safe storage of departmental supplies of radiographic materials.
• Prepare and submit detailed reports on radiography activities and department performance.

Requirements

• A Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Radiography, Radiography (Diagnostic), Radiography Technology, or any equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.
• A Certificate in Computer Application Skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle patient care with sensitivity.
• Knowledge of medical imaging safety protocols and quality control standards.
