BIDCORO Africa Ltd, a partnership between BIDCO Africa Ltd. and CORO A/S (Denmark), is seeking a self-driven and motivated individual to join our operations team. This role is designed for a professional passionate about project coordination and stakeholder management within the FMCG industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing production projects, managing third-party manufacturing relationships, and ensuring high standards of food safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
Co-packer Management: Develop and align co-packer processes with the company's overall operational strategy to ensure seamless production.
Food Safety & Compliance: Support co-packers in achieving and maintaining food safety requirements, focusing on audits and professional accreditations.
Brand Owner Relations: Manage the operational interface and communication between BIDCORO and various brand owners.
Project Oversight: Lead the end-to-end completion of projects, ensuring regular status meetings, comprehensive implementation reports, and accurate project closure documentation.
Traceability: Maintain full traceability across the supply chain, specifically from raw/packaging materials to final finished goods.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Maintenance of healthy and productive co-packer relationships.
Consistency in high product quality standards.
Demonstrable reduction in costs and waste, leading to increased operational efficiency.
Efficient and reliable production support.
Professional coordination with brand owners throughout the product lifecycle.
Strict adherence to regulatory compliance.
Effective and timely resolution of complaints.
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Food Science or a related discipline.
Certified training in Food Hygiene and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point).
Minimum of two years' working experience as a Production or Quality Assurance Supervisor.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining strict attention to detail and deadlines.
