Production Shift Supervisor

Highlands Drinks Limited is seeking a Production Shift Supervisor to manage manufacturing activities at their Nyeri facility. The role involves overseeing the daily production process, supervising line staff, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. ### Responsibilities: - Ensure smooth production operation during shift - Train and coach production line employees and conduct performance reviews - Responsible for shift schedule including workstation assignments, rotations, employee training, vacations, breaks, and overtime - Coordinate production start-ups, shutdowns, and changeovers - Responsible for quality control during shift to produce product within specifications and meet production goals - Prepare and submit production reports timely and ensure a clean and safe work area - Attend daily operation review meetings and make production presentations - Manage health and safety at work - Keep records of workers attendance - Initiate and direct process changes to ensure product specifications are achieved - Perform effective production line balancing for maximum output and plant optimization - Ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) are adhered to - Provide guidance and assistance to a team of machine operators. ### Requirements: - Diploma in Engineering, Food Science, Chemistry or related field - At least 3 years of experience in a similar role - Previous experience in an FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) environment - Strong organizational and leadership abilities - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Self-motivated with a results-driven approach - Strong problem-solving skills - Working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), OSHA, and Production Process Control - Basic computer skills. ### How to Apply: Interested and qualified candidates should apply online through the recruitment portal at .
