Job Description
The Procurement Officer is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and managing supplies and services required for hospital operations. This role ensures that all acquisition processes are conducted efficiently and in compliance with established policies to support the health facility's needs.
Key Responsibilities
Manage procurement planning and supplier sourcing.
Prepare purchase orders and monitor deliveries.
Maintain supplier relationships and procurement records.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies.
Requirements
Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
Membership with KISM (Kenya Institute of Supplies Management).
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a procurement role.
