Job Description
The Courier is responsible for the safe and timely collection and delivery of medical specimens, reports, and supplies while ensuring specimen integrity, accurate documentation, and strict compliance with safety and quality standards. This role directly supports reliable diagnostics and patient care across the organization.
Responsibilities and Duties
Specimen & Document Transport: Safe and timely collection and delivery of medical specimens, lab reports, and supplies.
Quality Control: Maintaining specimen integrity during transportation through proper handling and storage.
Documentation: Keeping accurate logs and documentation for all items transported.
Compliance: Adhering to strict safety protocols and quality standards in line with medical diagnostic requirements.
Coordination: Effectively communicating with laboratory teams to ensure seamless logistics operations.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education: Minimum Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with a Diploma or Certificate in a relevant course.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year relevant working experience.
Licensing: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Industry Knowledge: Experience in the medical diagnostic industry is considered an added advantage.
