The Catholic University of Eastern Africa (CUEA) is seeking a qualified and experienced Plumber to handle maintenance, installations, and repairs of water systems and plumbing infrastructure within the institution.
Key Responsibilities
Attend to urgent plumbing issues promptly.
Conduct leak detection, pressure testing, and compliance checks.
Diagnose faults, replace defective components, and perform routine servicing.
Ensure adherence to local building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
Fit and connect pipes, fixtures, water heaters, and sanitation systems.
Maintain accurate work logs, service reports, and cost estimates.
Read and apply technical drawings to guide installations.
Job Requirements & Qualifications
At least two (2) years of working experience in a busy environment.
KCSE mean grade D+ or its equivalent.
Must have a Basic Certificate or Government Trade Test III in Plumbing.
Must have knowledge of plumbing codes, materials (PVC, Copper, steel), and tools.
