About the Role\nAmentum is a global leader in designing, engineering, and modernizing critical systems and programs of national importance across defense, security, intelligence, energy, and the environment. We are looking for a Photographer to plan, capture, and produce high-quality photographs for various purposes including official documentation, events, and facilities. The role involves managing photographic assignments to effectively document ceremonies, projects, and special events within the designated operational scope.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n- Plan, capture, and produce high-quality photographs for official documentation, events, facilities, and promotional or operational needs.\n- Edit and process photographs using digital photo editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom) to meet organizational standards.\n- Document ceremonies, projects, and special events, ensuring all images maintain high levels of clarity, quality, and accuracy.\n- Maintain, secure, and operate a variety of photography equipment, including cameras, tripods, lighting, and other necessary tools.\n- Assist in designing and preparing visual presentations, report photography, and other illustrative materials.\n- File and maintain an organized archive of photographic assets for future reference and accessibility.\n- Coordinate with project managers and leadership teams to align photographic objectives with program goals.\n- Adhere to Navy-approved standards and guidelines for handling sensitive images and respecting security policies.\n- Stay current with trends and advancements in photography techniques and equipment.\n\n### Requirements and Qualifications\n- 1–3 years of relevant experience as a photographer or in a related field.\n- High school diploma or equivalent (KCSE).\n- Proven experience with professional photography equipment and digital editing software.\n- Solid knowledge of basic lighting techniques and composition.\n- Must possess a valid passport with at least one (1) year of validity remaining at the time of hiring.\n- Ability to travel internationally and successfully pass contract medical requirements.\n- Ability to obtain and maintain facility credentials and authorization.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates should apply online via the Amentum careers portal at or by clicking the application link: .
