Amentum is seeking a Photocopier Technician to be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, repairing, and ensuring the operational readiness of photocopy machines. The role involves working in compliance with manufacturer-recommended schedules and procedures to provide technical support, manage consumable supplies, and minimize equipment downtime.
Key Responsibilities
Perform scheduled inspections, cleaning, maintenance, and functional tests on photocopy machines following manufacturer procedures.
Diagnose and repair malfunctions to restore machines to full operational functionality.
Replace worn-out components or parts such as cleaning gears, rollers, and circuits to prevent downtime.
Manage and stock sufficient consumable materials, such as toner and cleaning supplies, at each photocopy machine site (excluding paper).
Maintain accurate service and maintenance logs, tracking replacement parts and schedules.
Respond promptly to service requests and troubleshoot reported issues to minimize delays.
Collaborate with supervisors and site managers to ensure seamless operations of photocopy equipment across all locations.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and functionality for all equipment.
Requirements and Qualifications
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in inspecting, maintaining, and repairing photocopy or similar office equipment.
Demonstrated knowledge of photocopy machine operations, diagnostics, and component servicing.
Familiarity with consumable management, including handling and storage of toner and cleaning supplies.
Ability to read and interpret manufacturer’s technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and service guides.
High school diploma or equivalent (KCSE).
Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Must possess a valid passport (valid for at least one year at the time of hire) and be able to travel internationally.
Ability to successfully pass contract medical requirements and maintain eligibility throughout deployment.
