Job Description
Jocham Hospital is a leading private medical service provider situated along the Mombasa/Malindi Road in Mombasa County. We are currently seeking to recruit qualified and experienced Pharmacists to join our healthcare team.
Role Overview
The Pharmacist will be responsible for ensuring the safe and effective use of medications within the hospital setting. This includes dispensing prescriptions, providing pharmaceutical advice to patients and clinical staff, and maintaining high standards of pharmacy practice in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Dispense prescription medications accurately to patients.
Provide clear instructions to patients on dosage, side effects, and storage of medications.
Maintain accurate pharmaceutical records and manage drug inventory.
Ensure compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines governing pharmacy practice.
Collaborate with other medical professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Requirements
Must be a holder of at least a Diploma in Pharmacy or a related field from a recognized institution.
At least 2 years of proven experience in a relevant medical or pharmaceutical field.
Valid professional registration and practicing license from the relevant regulatory body in Kenya.
