Role Overview
Africa Management Solutions Limited (AMSOL) is seeking a qualified Pharmaceutical Technologist to support pharmaceutical services through safe dispensing, patient counseling, and inventory management. The role is based in Nairobi and focuses on maintaining professional standards and patient safety within a clinical or retail pharmacy environment.
Key Responsibilities
Safe Dispensing: Accurately dispense medicines according to prescriptions while ensuring patient safety.
Patient Counseling: Provide professional advice to patients regarding correct medication usage, dosage, and possible side effects.
Inventory Management: Oversee pharmaceutical stock levels, manage orders, and maintain accurate inventory records.
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all pharmacy activities and record-keeping align with the standards set by the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
Qualifications and Requirements
Educational Background: Possession of a Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology.
Professional Registration: Must have a valid and active license from the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB).
Work Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience in a similar pharmaceutical role.
