Pedagogical Expert

Education Development Center (EDC) is seeking four (4) Pedagogical Experts to support the design and development of instructional materials, training curricula, and digital learning content. These materials will be aligned with competency-based education and training (CBET) principles specifically for the TVET system. The experts will help integrate effective teaching methodologies and Information and Communication Technology (ICT)–enabled approaches into training delivery, ensuring that learning materials, assessments, and instructional strategies support modern, inclusive, and technology-enhanced vocational education. This is a part-time consultancy with a level of effort of 48 weeks, and it is contingent upon award by the donor.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n* Support the design and development of instructional materials and training curricula.\n* Develop digital learning content aligned with competency-based education and training (CBET) principles.\n* Integrate effective teaching methodologies and ICT-enabled approaches into training delivery.\n* Ensure learning materials, assessments, and instructional strategies support modern and inclusive vocational education.\n* Collaborate on technology-enhanced educational strategies for the TVET system.\n\n### Qualifications and Experience\n* A minimum of a Master’s Degree in Computer Science (or related field), Education, Curriculum Development, Educational Technology, Technical Education, or a related field.\n* Must be an accredited curriculum developer/assessor.\n* Recognized Trainer of Trainer (ToT) certification in the CBET framework.\n* \n * A minimum of 5 years in the design and development of instructional materials including curriculum delivery method plans, assessments, and digital content for multimodal delivery methods.\n * A minimum of three years in CBET alignment and implementation, curriculum design, and ICT integration in Education.\n\n### How to Apply\nInterested and qualified candidates should apply online through the SmartRecruiters platform.
