Patient Porter

The Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Teaching and Referral Hospital (JOOTRH) is seeking a dedicated and physically fit individual for the role of Patient Porter, offered on a Contract basis. This critical position involves the safe and efficient movement of patients, equipment, and medical resources within the hospital environment.

Person Specifications

Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements and possess the specified attributes:

• Education: Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) or its equivalent from a recognized institution.
• Experience: Experience in a healthcare or hospital environment is considered an added advantage.
• Physical Requirements: Must be physically fit, reliable, and capable of safely handling the transport of patients and equipment.
• Knowledge: Basic knowledge of hospital safety and infection prevention protocols is required.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in computer applications.
