Part Time Lecturers - Leadership Ethics in Technology Education

The Open University of Kenya (OUK) aims to address the pressing issue of limited capacity in traditional universities by employing innovative teaching and learning methodologies, including online and distance education. By leveraging technology and flexible learning modes, the university seeks to accommodate a larger number of qualified students.

This role is for Part Time Lecturers specializing in Leadership Ethics in Technology Education. Successful candidates will be responsible for delivering academic content and providing comprehensive student support primarily through online platforms.

Required Qualifications and Competencies

For appointment to this grade, candidates MUST meet the following criteria:

• Education & Experience:
  • An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited University.
  • OR A Master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited University (in special cases) with at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level, and registered in good standing for a Ph.D. in the relevant field.
• Technical Proficiency:
  • Be computer literate with the ability to handle digital content (for all posts).
  • Possess the ability to support students effectively online (specific requirement for part-time lecturers).
