Part Time Lecturer - Quality Assurance in TVET

Part Time Lecturers specializing in Quality Assurance in TVET are sought by The Open University of Kenya (OUK). Role Purpose

As a Part-Time Lecturer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality instruction in Quality Assurance in TVET, primarily through online and distance learning modalities. This role involves developing and delivering digital content, assessing student performance, and providing comprehensive academic support to students studying remotely.

Required Qualifications and Competencies

For appointment to this grade, candidates MUST meet the following criteria:

1. Academic Qualification:

• An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited University.
• OR A Master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited University (in special cases) with at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level, and the candidate must be registered in good standing for a PhD in the relevant field.

2. Professional and Technical Skills:

• Be computer literate with the ability to handle digital content (required for all posts).
• Demonstrated ability to support students effectively in an online environment (specific requirement for part-time lecturers).

3. Experience:

• A minimum of three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level is mandatory if applying with a Master's degree qualification.
