Job Description
The Open University of Kenya (OUK) is seeking qualified Part-Time Lecturers specializing in International Trade Law and Policy. The university utilizes innovative teaching and learning methodologies, including online and distance education, to reach a larger number of qualified students and accommodate flexible learning modes. Candidates will be responsible for delivering academic instruction and supporting students within a digital framework.
Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality lectures and instruction in International Trade Law and Policy.
Facilitate student learning through online and distance education methodologies.
Support students online by addressing academic queries and providing guidance.
Prepare and manage digital content for the university's learning platforms.
Evaluate student progress through assessments and examinations.
Requirements
An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited University; OR a Master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited University (in special cases) with at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level and registered in good standing for Ph.D. in the relevant field.
Be computer literate with ability to handle digital content.
Demonstrate the ability to support students online.
Possession of relevant professional qualifications and membership with professional bodies.
