On behalf of our client, we are seeking a qualified and passionate Early Childhood Development and Education (ECDE) Teacher to join their team in Nairobi.\n\n### Position Overview\nThe CBC-aligned ECDE Teacher is responsible for facilitating competency-based learning experiences for young learners. The role emphasizes nurturing foundational skills, values, and attitudes through interactive, learner-centered approaches that prepare children for lifelong learning.\n\n### Key Responsibilities\n* : Design and deliver daily lessons that integrate CBC strands (literacy, numeracy, environmental activities, psychomotor, and social skills).\n* : Guide children in exploration, discovery, and problem-solving rather than rote memorization.\n* : Use formative assessment tools to evaluate learners’ competencies, skills, and values.\n* : Engage parents/guardians in supporting learners’ competencies at home.\n* : Instill national values, life skills, and social responsibility in daily routines.\n* : Incorporate play, projects, and experiential activities to build competencies.\n* : Maintain learner portfolios, progress reports, and assessment records in line with CBC guidelines.\n\n### Qualifications\n* Diploma in ECDE from a recognized institution.\n* Registered with the Teachers Service Commission (TSC).\n* Training in CBC implementation and practical classroom application.\n* Minimum of 1 year teaching experience in ECDE.\n\n### Skills and Competencies\n* CBC pedagogy and learner-centered approaches.\n* Strong facilitation and communication skills.\n* Creativity in designing experiential learning activities.\n* Patience, empathy, and adaptability.\n* Ability to integrate ICT tools in early learning.
