Job Description
The Open University of Kenya aims to address the pressing issue of limited capacity in traditional universities by employing innovative teaching and learning methodologies, including online and distance education. By leveraging technology and flexible learning modes, the university seeks to accommodate a larger number of qualified students, enabling them to access quality education from anywhere. The university is currently seeking qualified Part-Time Lecturers specializing in Health Economics and Financing.
Required Qualifications and Competencies
For appointment to this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited University; OR A Master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited University (in special cases) with at least three (3) years teaching experience at the university level.
Candidates with a Master's degree must be registered and in good standing for a Ph.D. in the relevant field.
Must be computer literate with the ability to handle digital content.
Demonstrated ability to support students in an online environment.
