Part-Time Lecturers - Global Business Environment

The Open University of Kenya aims to address the pressing issue of limited capacity in traditional universities by employing innovative teaching and learning methodologies, including online and distance education. By leveraging technology and flexible learning modes, the university seeks to accommodate a larger number of qualified students, enabling them to access quality higher education. We are currently recruiting for the position of Part-Time Lecturers in the field of Global Business Environment.

Role Overview

The role involves facilitating learning for the Global Business Environment course unit through the university's digital platforms. The successful candidate will be expected to support students in an online environment, manage digital course content, and ensure high standards of academic delivery in a distance-learning context.

Required Qualifications and Competencies

For appointment to this position, a candidate MUST have:

• An earned Ph.D. or equivalent degree qualification in the relevant field from an accredited University; OR
• A Master’s degree in the relevant field from an accredited University (in special cases) with at least three (3) years of teaching experience at the university level and registered in good standing for a Ph.D. in the relevant field.
• Must be computer literate with the ability to handle digital content.
• Demonstrated ability to support students online.
• Membership with relevant professional bodies.
