Mechanic - General (Electrical, Alignment & Bodywork Basics)

About the Role

As a General Mechanic at Express Garage, you will work alongside a team of skilled technicians using standard workshop tools and diagnostic equipment to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair vehicles.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Perform basic auto-electrical diagnosis including battery, wiring, lights, starter, and alternator issues.
• Execute wheel alignment and balancing using standard workshop equipment.
• Carry out basic bodywork fitting such as bumpers, panels, and minor exterior fittings (excluding full denting/painting).
• Use standard diagnostic tools and workshop equipment to identify and fix mechanical issues efficiently.
• Ensure all repair work meets safety and quality standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Diploma or Certificate in Automobile/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent trade certification.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience as an automotive mechanic, with exposure to electrical, alignment, and bodywork tasks.
• Practical knowledge in operating automotive diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.
• Physically fit and capable of handling demanding workshop tasks.
