As an LMP Crew Supervisor at Baker Hughes, you will be responsible for overseeing the manufacturing of fluid systems and ensuring operational excellence within warehouse and laboratory environments. This role involves a combination of technical chemical testing, physical material handling, and administrative inventory management. You will lead a crew in the daily operations of receiving, loading, and dispatching materials while maintaining strict adherence to safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise the manufacturing of fluid systems to ensure production targets are met.
Perform basic laboratory fluid testing to maintain quality and performance standards.
Facilitate the receipt, loading, unloading, and movement of stock materials using a forklift.
Prepare and coordinate shipments for dispatch to various field locations or customer sites.
Update and monitor documentation to maintain accurate records of transactions and inventory levels.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide updates on product availability and inventory status.
Maintain store equipment and conduct regular warehouse cleanups to ensure inventory accuracy and workplace safety.
Requirements and Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent (KCSE).
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a related industrial or oilfield field.
Demonstrated knowledge of basic chemical blending processes.
Proven initiative in expanding knowledge of products, processes, and equipment.
Comprehensive understanding of workplace safety policies and procedures.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to implement effective operational improvements.
Availability to work evening shifts and overtime during weekends or holidays as required.
Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a physically demanding environment.
Physical ability to lift and move products regularly.
