The Legal Officer plays a crucial role in providing legal support, advisory services, and contract management for the organization. This position requires an experienced advocate to ensure legal compliance and robust documentation across all corporate activities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal support and advisory to the organization.
Draft, review, and vet contracts and agreements.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Support in corporate secretarial and statutory compliances.
Maintain legal records and documentation.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: LLB Degree from a recognized university in Kenya.
Professional Qualification: Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with a valid practicing certificate.
Experience: 1-3 years of post-admission experience (preferably in a corporate, healthcare, or law firm setup).
Knowledge: Excellent understanding of Kenyan laws and legal procedures.
Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
