Laboratory Technician II (Food and Beverage Production FBD)

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain resources to ensure optimum functionality
• Conduct laboratory practicals
• Ensure Laboratory and the equipment therein is secure
• Ensure materials, simulation software and other relevant resources are availed
• Actively play a role in exhibitions, conferences and seminars
• Demonstrate tasks to students as assigned by subject lecturers
• Develop laboratory manuals

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Food Production, Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management or a related discipline from a recognized institution
• Laboratory and inventory Management skills and proficiency in Microsoft Suite
• At least three (3) years' experience working in reputable hotel, restaurants, catering establishments, institutional kitchens or hospitality training institutions
• Possession of professional culinary certifications
• Experience in both commercial and institutional food production
