Job Description
Flone Initiative is a pan-African women-led non-profit organization working towards the realization of Safe, Accessible, Inclusive and Sustainable public transportation for all in Africa, with a particular focus on women and vulnerable groups.
The Internal IT Systems & Infrastructure Support role is responsible for overseeing and maintaining the organization's technological framework. This includes ensuring the stability and security of internal IT infrastructure, managing hardware and software resources, and providing technical support to the team.
Responsibilities
Monitor and maintain the organization's computer systems and networks.
Provide comprehensive maintenance and support for laptops, servers, and other office technology.
Implement and oversee robust data protection and cybersecurity protocols.
Troubleshoot hardware and software issues for staff members.
Ensure all IT infrastructure remains secure and functional to support organizational operations.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (BA/BSc) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
At least 3 years of professional experience in IT systems and infrastructure management.
Strong technical knowledge of data protection best practices and cybersecurity.
Proven capacity to provide hands-on maintenance for office tech, including servers and mobile computing devices.
