Intern - Digital Multi-Media and Graphic Design

World Vision is an international Christian relief, development and advocacy organisation working in almost 100 countries world-wide to create lasting change in the lives of children, families and communities to overcome poverty and injustice.

This internship role is for a graphic design and digital multi-media professional to share their expertise and learn within the Regional CPE team. The intern will support National Offices and the Regional Office on various communication needs for projects in East Africa. The position will be based in the Nairobi office.

This internship is a 6 months’ talent incubation programme aiming to give young Christian graduates real work experience, personal, spiritual, and professional development through on-the-job mentorship and coaching. This program is designed for Kenyan graduates who are daring and ready to take up stretch assignments, even in hardship areas, to learn and serve the most vulnerable children and the communities they live in.

Key Responsibilities

• 30% Strengthen brand identity of World Vision, developing communication products including digital media, reports, publications, flyers, posters, etc.
• 20% Develop, execute, and report on social media engagement plans/calendar.
• 15% Create concepts and ideas to visually communicate our brand and goals.
• 20% Partner with the regional communications team to design concepts for campaigns, events, and other special projects.
• 15% Engage in internal communications activities for broad exposure to the organisation.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates must hold a BA/BSc/HND qualification and be young Christian Kenyan graduates who are prepared for stretch assignments.
