Insurance Sales Agent

This role is for an Insurance Sales Agent based in Bomet, working for Fantom Group, a licensed Insurance Agency offering a wide range of insurance covers from multiple underwriters. Fantom Group also positions itself as an all-in-one healthcare solution, providing 24/7 access and services like lab draws and quarterly check-ins. We are seeking professional and results-driven Insurance Sales Agents to recruit, advise, onboard, and support customers, while contributing to sustainable agency growth.

Role Overview

The primary objective of the Insurance Sales Agent is to drive sales performance, ensure customer satisfaction, and maintain regulatory compliance within the insurance sector.

Responsibilities and Key Duties

• Actively market and promote the Company's insurance products and services to clients.
• Prospect, engage, and onboard customers through both digital and physical channels.
• Advise clients on suitable insurance covers based on their needs and risk profiles.
• Follow up on leads, policy renewals, and premium payments.
• Provide excellent customer service and effective after-sales support.
• Uphold high standards of ethics, professionalism, and regulatory compliance.
• Attend all mandatory Company meetings, including daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and strategy sessions.
• Participate in required training programs, performance reviews, and engagement initiatives.
• Prepare and submit accurate daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education: Diploma in Insurance, Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years' experience in sales; prior experience in insurance will be an added advantage.

Compensation

Compensation for this position is commission-based. Agents receive performance-based commission linked to successful conversions, along with competitive commissions, rewards, and sales incentives.

• Customer acquisition and retention rates.
