The Insurance Broker will provide professional insurance services to clients in both commercial and personal lines. The role involves sourcing, advising, and placing insurance business to meet established company growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth: Meet business growth and sales targets and ensure business closed is retained in the books as per set guidelines.
Client Advisory: Advise clients on appropriate commercial and personal insurance products based on their specific needs.
Business Development: Source and develop new clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
Documentation: Prepare and present insurance proposals, renewals, and claims submissions.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain accurate client records and documentation in line with company and regulatory standards.
Support: Provide timely support and follow-up on client queries and claims.
Requirements and Qualifications
Experience: 3–5 years experience as an insurance broker.
Education: BA/BSc/HND degree.
Mobility: Must own a reliable vehicle and possess a valid driver's license.
Skills: Strong client service, communication, and negotiation skills.
Attributes: Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently.
Travel: Travel may be required to meet clients and attend industry events.
Performance Metrics: Performance is measured on sales targets, client satisfaction, and compliance adherence.
