Information Technology System Analyst

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Information Technology System Analyst, based in Nairobi County, Kenya. The primary objective of this role is to assess and enhance the bank's IT infrastructure.

The Information Technology System Analyst will be responsible for analyzing system requirements, identifying necessary enhancements, and ensuring optimal system efficiency across the organization. The role is crucial in contributing to the development and maintenance of effective IT solutions that meet the bank's overall strategic goals.

Responsibilities & Duties (Day-to-day tasks)

• Performing detailed systems analysis.
• Providing comprehensive technical support to staff and systems.
• Addressing troubleshooting needs efficiently and ensuring smooth operations.
• Collaborating effectively with various teams to optimize existing IT systems.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Systems Expertise: Proficiency in Systems Analysis and Information Technology to assess and design effective system solutions.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills are required to evaluate complex problems and propose well-reasoned solutions.
• Technical Support: Experience in technical support and troubleshooting to resolve system issues efficiently and ensure smooth operations.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills, strong teamwork abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Industry Knowledge (Advantageous): Familiarity with financial systems and banking industry processes is considered advantageous.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
