The In-Mould Labeling (IML) Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring IML machines to ensure efficient production of high-quality labeled products. The role contributes to meeting production targets while maintaining safety, quality, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor In-Mould Labeling machines in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Operate IML machines to meet daily production targets and quality specifications.
Inspect finished products to ensure labels are correctly positioned and meet quality standards.
Perform routine machine cleaning, basic maintenance, and report any faults or breakdowns promptly.
Adhere to safety, quality, and production requirements, including accurate documentation and reporting.
Requirements and Qualifications
Education/Certification: Minimum of Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering or a related field. Technical or machine operation certification will be an added advantage, especially in a plastic manufacturing company.
Experience: At least 2–3 years’ experience operating IML and injection molding machines.
Skills:
Technical machine operation and troubleshooting skills.
Strong attention to detail and quality control.
Ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines.
Teamwork, reliability, and time management skills.
