Job Description
Platinum Credit Limited is a credit-only Micro-Finance Company licensed in Kenya, founded in 2003 with a vision to provide emergency loans to Civil Servants, TSC members, and employees of selected companies. We are seeking a Human Resource Officer to join our team in Nairobi.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing HR support, ensuring compliance with Kenyan labor laws, and facilitating staff development through coaching and counseling. This role requires a high degree of integrity and professional competence in human resource management systems.
Key Responsibilities
Manage HR functions including policy administration and employee relations.
Ensure all practices are in compliance with Kenyan employment labor laws.
Utilize Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) for data management and reporting.
Provide guidance and counseling to staff members.
Coordinate coaching initiatives to inspire and motivate teams.
Maintain high standards of confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with discretion.
Interact professionally with both internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications and Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management or a relevant field.
Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management.
Must possess a valid practicing certificate from the Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM).
In-depth knowledge of Kenyan employment labor laws and practices.
Proficiency in computer skills, specifically HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
