Health & Safety Officer

• Oversee and manage workplace safety programs and compliance operations.
• Conduct regular safety audits, assessments, and inspections on site.
• Ensure all processes adhere to OSHA regulations and local environmental laws.
• Engage with community members, local authorities, and internal stakeholders to address safety concerns.
• Investigate workplace accidents, document incidents, and implement preventative measures.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of health & safety experience.
• Degree in Social Sciences, OHS, or related field.
• OSH/NEBOSH Certification required.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Construction industry experience preferred.
• Strong stakeholder & community engagement skills.
• Good communication & problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in written & spoken Swahili.
