As the Head of Commercial - Flavors for the Africa region, you will unlock the power of nature to enrich the quality of life by driving growth and strategy in our flavors division.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership: Lead the flavors commercial organization across Africa, overseeing a regional leadership team and in-market commercial structures.
Strategic Execution: Define and execute the Africa commercial and growth strategy within ADM’s Flavors business.
Growth Management: Drive profitable revenue growth and expand market share across the region.
Strategic Initiatives: Identify and lead strategic growth initiatives, including partnerships, joint ventures, and new market entry models.
Customer Engagement: Strengthen customer engagement across key segments in food ingredients.
Team Development: Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing, regionally distributed leadership team.
Strategic Impact: Position Africa as a core growth engine within ADM’s Flavors division and partner cross-functionally to further develop regional infrastructure, including supply chain and manufacturing capabilities.
Profile and Requirements
Industry Experience: Senior commercial leader with experience in the food ingredients, flavors, or B2B food/beverages sector.
Growth Track Record: Proven track record in driving growth beyond core sales (e.g., partnerships, JVs, market development).
Strategic Mindset: Ability to operate strategically while staying close to market and customer needs.
Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management skills, with exposure to executive-level interactions.
Travel: Readiness for frequent international travel.
Languages: Fluent in English; proficiency in French is considered a distinct advantage.
Qualifications: Must possess a BA/BSc/HND degree.
