This internship role involves managing the graphic and creative design for all client and organizational internal communication materials, based on provided briefs. The successful candidate will create materials including, but not limited to, newsletters, flyers, websites, advertisements, logos, and packaging. The key objective is to ensure that all creative executions are visually appealing, communicate the intended message accurately, and successfully attract public attention. The intern is expected to collaborate effectively with other team members to understand project requirements and deliver creative solutions. This position requires an individual who is self-driven, energetic, creative, curious, enthusiastic, and passionate about design work.
Skills and Competencies
- Entry level experience (1–2 years minimal) in a Creative Design Studio or Printing Press, preferably gained in an agency or other busy organization.
- Must be a cutting-edge Graphic Designer with critical and creative thinking capabilities, able to go beyond conventional graphics (which is also expected) to encompass Digital Design, Motion Graphics, Presentations, and Graphic Editing.
- Proficiency in all Macintosh-related design and editing programs, specifically including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Ability to provide for basic Sketch, Typography, Branding, and Layout Design.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a dynamic, creative, and fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well both collaboratively and independently as needed.
- Ability to cope with pressure and work with tight deadlines.
- Possess a positive attitude with a proactive approach.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
- A showcase of work demonstrating proven experience as a creative designer.
