Sheer Logic Management Consultants is seeking a highly analytical and self-driven Graduate Intern to support factory operational excellence initiatives within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about manufacturing excellence, data analytics, and continuous improvement.
Role Overview
This internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on exposure in:
Manufacturing Excellence (ManEx)
Continuous Improvement (CI)
Digital factory transformation
Lean manufacturing and Kaizen
Data analytics and operational reporting
The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional factory teams to drive process optimization, loss elimination, operational efficiency, and digital transformation initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Support the implementation of Manufacturing Excellence (ManEx) initiatives across factory operations.
Assist in driving Continuous Improvement (CI) and Kaizen activities.
Analyze production and operational data to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
Develop and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI and Microsoft tools.
Facilitate problem-solving sessions and improvement workshops.
Support factory digital transformation initiatives, including deployment of digital factory systems and applications.
Work collaboratively with Engineering, Operations, Safety, and other cross-functional teams.
Assist in tracking factory performance metrics and operational KPIs.
Promote best practices in waste reduction, process optimization, and operational efficiency.
Participate in daily, weekly, and operational review meetings.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel.
Knowledge of Power BI or data visualization tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative.
Ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Exposure to FMCG manufacturing environments is an added advantage.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, or Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Understanding of supply chain or factory operations.
Experience with digital transformation or automation initiatives.
